Sir James Goldsmith on Globalisation

In this Charlie Rose video, he interviews Sir James Goldsmithvideo from 1994. It’s a discussion on globalisation, and how outsourcing of capital to China is destabalising the US economy (in 1994!).

Goldsmith is clearly a very clever man who doesn’t suffer fools gladly (he wipes the floor with Laura Tyson in the debate). Clearly lots of the issues discussed here have come to pass and have contributed to the situation the US (and UK) now finds itself.
