Robert Shiller Video

Robert Shiller is a famed economist and author who serves at the prestigious Yale University.  His is one of the heavyweight experts who’s opinion is always worth listening to.

I have found the following videos to be very interesting, where he gives his thoughts on the current credit crisis and how mistakes could have been avoided.  Worryingly, he suspects that the crisis could last for some time.  I particularly found his comments regarding the possibility of home equity insurance and using the derivatives market to stabilize property to be very interesting.
